WHAT GIVES

It bugs me to no end, how Clemson, 6/7 last year and GT 6/7 last year with newer coaches than UGA are on a tear and undefeated. Clemson has beat 3 ranked teams soundly in a row. We can not beat a top 40 team. GT has nowhere near the recruits we have, Clemson had a good class, but we have had many more. Then you look at Fla, new coach, this would be a down year for the Gators. Well until they got pounded by Bama, they looked unstoppable.

It just erks me that we have not had that killer instink in years, we always play down to the other teams level with the exception of CC. I don't think we have beat a ranked team since the 07 sugar bowl win. I am just no satisfied with winning games over the vandys, ky NM,CC and now on a loosing stick to FL, USC, and any other program that seems to have a winning record now days.

I don't think we are a program back on the rise, I think we look better at times, but I think UGA is in a stalemate, where we will win 6 or 7 games against subpar teams and continue to lose to teams ranked or that have a winning record. We have not had much sucess at Tenn, and I guess we wil see how we do. Its just time for some new blood, time for UGA to start all over. To me even if CMR takes over the play calling, he is still the HC and to me is is no HC material. Forget about what he did from 2002 until 2007, look at what the program has become since 2007.

IF we lose to UF this year, with a first year coach, and (I'm assuming after Brantley's injury) a backup QB, I'm curious what excuses the sunshine pumpers will have to keep Richt. Hopefully that won't be an issue, but with this bunch, who knows.

duck you pretty much touched all the bases with your thread. Seems the defense is better, if the offensive side does not come along, it will cost us big further down the schedule. Losing to Tennessee would not help the case for keeping all coaches on board. Florida it appears lost its quarterback, will their coaches be able to overcome this setback, we will see. Our schedule and turn of events so far could not be more favorable. McGarity has to be watching with great interest.

Obviously GT and Clemson have evil men as their HC's.

Good guys like Richt have to go through really extended down periods before they can become decent
again.

But Ga. Tech and Clemson players are all going to hell because they are heathen infidels.
