They actually played 3 quarterbacks yesterday.

I asked my friend after the game why didnt CL play he said he's still has to much freshmen in him. If your going to make the mistakes in practice then your def going to make them in a game. He still needs to learn the play book better. Great arm just don't have all the knowledge yet.

But said they really like the way PW has been playing in practice and may have a battle next year at the #2 quarterback nxt year.

And man I really like seeing SW at lineback he was really laying the hit's I was 3 rows up from the field and some of those hit where just crazy and the closing speed he had. Can't wait to see him next week against a SEC team.

I think we proved we have a much better team than the
Chanticleers. Other than that.. we got seldom used
players some reps. I'm never sure what more might
be gleaned from a game like this.

Coastal Carolina couldn't beat Bolles HS here in Jax.

But.....the Dawgs went out and was very business like for the WHOLE game. Should have been a stepping point for them to perform at least in game conditions. Nice to see they were mentally prepared even though playing a HS team. Good execution and 100% effort for 60 minutes.

Btw.....imo.....CL will never start for UGA. When AM is through, Brice Ramsey will take over (Mason may start the 1st year after AM is gone but not for long). Ramsey is the real deal, so believe CL will move on to another school.

It was good to beat an opponet as we SHOULD have. Didn't take the foot off the gas, didn't let them back in it. I think its a great morale booster for the young men of Athens.

strong statement about CL. I've never seen him play but thought he was #2 QB recruit in country last year behind Driskell. Although we all know high school rankings don't guarantee success. You may be spot on with your assessment though.

southerlover.....weeeeell, you never know but......things just don't "feel" right with CL. He's not getting the offense down plus past problems. I DO know that Ramsey is the real deal.....big and smart. He can beat you in many ways......he WILL start one day for UGA (assuming he stays with his committment).

Guess we'll see.....been wrong too many times before (just ask my wife )
