G-Day football!!!!!

HEY!!!! Who's excited about G-DAY????? lol


I just cant wait!!! Its been a long time since I've seen my dawgs play! what since Dec 30? I just cant wait!!!!, lol

I am coming to Athens to see the G-day Game, I have never been before.... What is it like? is it just a regular scrimage game? or is there more to it?


Well.... Go0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o DAWGS!!!!!!

There will be about 20,000-25000 fans there. It will be a 4 quarter game made up of either 8 minute qtrs or 10 minute qtrs (I've seen both). It will have regular college football officials, with cheerleaders, pep band etc etc. They are cautious in some areas though, the QB's can't be hit, no kickoffs and they do punt but no return, only a kick and a fair catch (therefore no hitting). They run their regular offenses at full speed just like in a regular game.The winner usually gets a steak and lobster dinner (or something similar) and the loseres get hotdogs. It's a lot of fun, you'll have a blast.
I'm not familiar with your posts but want to invite you and your spouse or significant other to meet with all of us that have been posting all year. We are trying to all get together in Athens at the 1st game (Oklahoma State) to meet each other and put faces behind the posts. Let us know if ya'll can be there. Steve may be able to get Dawgs.com to host it (if reasonable).
