Buc, thanks for the post. I completely understand those that still have a strong allegiance with CMR. He's a great man and his character is second to none...But this really isn't about that...This is about wins and loses!...I remember a few years back when this board was awash with ill will toward Willie. I was probably the ONLY person who defended CWM to the very end. It wasn't because I believed Willie was the best DC for our program, it was because of WHO hired him and WHO would replace him. The same goes for BlowBo!...For the better part of a decade we've all seen signs about the employment practices of CMR and like his playcalling, CMR's rarely changes or adapts. My defense of Willie back then was an attempt for us to collectively see that the programs problem rose much higher than the pawn placed before us!
I saw this rather alarming stat posted on another site and it speaks volumes....

Folks, that's MEDIOCRITY defined! I want more from my Alma Mater! I'm thankful for what Mark Richt has done at UGA. But the game and the conference has stepped it up and Mark just doesn't have what it takes to keep up!....Time to turn the page!
