Purdue

Hey, I'm one of the Lady Dawgs' biggest fans, but last night's performance in the Sweet Sixteen was pathetic. We absolutely dominated Purdue for 12-15 minutes, then absolutely fell apart. There was no excuse for losing to that team last night, a team to which we were clearly superior. I love the Lady Dawgs and support them, and I'm sure Houts and Humphrey and Angel Robinson will bring us right back deep in the tourney next year, but we should be playing UNC on Wednesday, simple as that. We got lazy and tired. No excuse for that.

Totally agree. That one gal for Purdue was an outstanding outside shooter. Think she scored 30.

At halftime one of the commentators said exactly what I've always felt about the Lady Dawgs, and not just this year. They play fantastic basketball and open up a lead, and then infuriatingly allow the opposition to creep back into the ballgame. I don't know what it is. I'll tell you something, though, if I see Megan Darrah miss one more easy layup I'm going to vomit.

Yeah, what's up with that !! I can make a layup (well maybe). That Gearlds can shoot the eyes out of it, geez. The Lady Dawgs seem to always have a good year but can't hang at the dance.
What's the girl's name at Duke that missed the last 2 free throws and lost the game by one point? First name is Lindsey. Four or five years ago I was talking with her father on a Sat. gameday at the Holiday Inn when Lindsey was being recruited and her father said it was between UGA and Duke. Man, I wish she had come to UGA, she had a great career, right?

Lindsey Harding. I was watching that game...I couldn't believe Rutgers' (turned out to be) game-winning shot, and then I couldn't believe they fouled Harding with 0.1 left. Then for her to miss not one, but both free throws? My guts turned. At least this girl is a great ball player, and will most likely make the league maximum ($80,000) at the next level.

Can that be right? They oughtta raise that to at least $100K, at least in the bigger WNBA markets like Sacramento and Connecticut.

Anyway, Lindsey Harding is another one who can shoot the eyes out of it. Phenomenal ballplayer.
