Any curiosity I might have had as to why we were terrible last year is summed up in this article. I'll post Aaron Murray's quote for you so you don't have to guess:
As a team right now, we're a lot more excited about the [first] game than we were last year. A year ago, I'd call a meeting or 7-on-7 drill [during the summer] and some guys would show up and some guys wouldn't. Now, everybody is showing up for everything.
Any questions?

Nope, no questions. Team has been flat for too long. It was time for a change in the way we prepare in Athens. With the schedule changes mentioned in the article, confirms my feelings that we made a good move convincing McGarity to come HOME.
No more excuses. UGA had a very good "operational" T-Shirt with the words "Finish the Drill" for all to see . . . . dapolla, hope this year we can "Finish the Drill". We are not talent short in Athens on the football field with those wearing the gear.
Go Dawgs . . . . Need a win in Atlanta.
