All fired up! Watching South Alabama play West Alabama on the tube, Baker (transfer from UGA) looks good at running back but needs to hold on to the ball a little better. CAN'T WAIT FOR SATURDAY, firing up the smoker with butts and both of my boys will be here to watch the big game. GO DAWGS!

I got my chef brother in law making his world famous peach glazed ribs (our opening day tradition) plenty of cold beer and good friends and family. Plus I'm celebrating a personal addition to my life. Gonna be awesome, brothers.

I went to Publix today with the kids to pick up some jambalaya ingredients. I cruised the beer in hopes my malt dreams had been realized and then there it was...................Harvest Moon. The Blue Moon seasonal pumpkin beer is out. Football is here. The weather is getting a little cooler. Life is good.

kentdaddy, yessir, when the pumpkin ale is out, it's time to get Funky Like a Monkey (some of you older ones may be know who that is from the old NWA/WCW days).

I brew my own beer and always have a pumpkin ale ready for the Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas season.

Watching what looks like it may end up a classic in Baylor/TCU.

The calendar says summer still but it is fall up in this homestead.

I have been crazy busy with work, 4 kids, school and a California wife ( like driving a classic Ferrari or a desmo Ducati.......lots of attention needed )and I missed out on some of the invader bashing. I had some good Idaho history ready to go too.
