Office predictions

I'm the only UGA fan here in my office in Alpharetta. Everyone else is from Kansas or Illinois or Arkansas. Here are the predictions for the outcome of the game (seevee and spc_ed enjoy):

Steve says - BSU 31 UGA 17 (Notre Dame fan, in denial)
Mark says - BSU 28 UGA 6 (Wake Forest fan)
Me - UGA 38 BSU 24 (we give up a cheap late TD, just like against Hawaii)
Jeff - BSU 24 UGA 20 (Dallas Cowboys fan)
Lyle - BSU 38 UGA 21 (Arkansas fan who has no SEC love)
Kyle - still doing research on the two teams (he's a Kansas State fan)

Keep in mind that this crowd is trying to raise my blood pressure.

Well you need to keep in mind (and you can tell them i said this) your friends at work are dumb and you need to separate yourself from them

I'm feeling a major upset is in the making right out of the gate.

There are a good many here in my office as well that are predicting a BSU win. Some are talking blowout by 28+ points.

Everything you read and hear from all of the "sports writers" are picking BSU to roll out of Atlanta with a "W".

Right now, I can only hope and pray they're not right.

But I'm gonna say UGA 34 BSU 20 with BSU getting 10 points on UGA "first game jitter" turnovers early in the game. UGA rallys big time after trailing 14-17 at the half.

The first half is going to make me drink too much and break something (hopefully nothing on my body). I think it's going to be a nail biter in the first half.

If it's such a foregone conclusion that BS will win handily, ask them why the official line is only 3 points. Something about this game scares the guys who make a living coming up with the line in the game. Dawgs win this one.

All this talk about how we are so heavily favored is not supported by the sharpest handicappers in the nation. 3 points is not a huge endorsement of our chances. I'd say this game is 50-50. The 3 points is just the home field advantage (I know, I know).

OT They must have fixed the gas leak in the AD office. Zabransky not going to handle the football pre-game. Winterswyk will.
