I'm jacked up and ready and and have been all damn week. Wish I could be there Saturday. The Wife scheduled a trip to the beach this w/e w/o my approval of course. So, I guess I'll be tailgating on the beach all day with the American and UGA flag flying high.
GO DAWGS!!! Make us proud as we ever have been. Put all that hard work to good use on the smurfs.

Great read! For anyone that has never experienced it that paints the perfect picture and captures the atmosphere of Saturday in Athens. Hell I'm ready to go tackle anything wearing Blue right now!

NC_Dawg, this is why folks like you need to be here. It is that time of the year again, and this post is exactly what UGA football is all about. Many memories in this post.

You're absolutely right about memories. I got out of football for awhile when I was a teenager and never really got much into college football anyway. But my 1st UGA game Was Sept. 3, 2005. Me and my best friend road to McRae to eat at popeyes (which is now closed) and on the way back to Eastman we listened to UGA kick the Broncos back to Boise. 2005 was my 1st Georgia season, and sortly after the Sugar Bowl that year, my best friend had a wreck and passed. I always look back on '05 not just because it was my 1st true season and we won the SEC that year, but for the memories. Great point, Buc.
