SPRING FOOTBALL IS HERE !!!!

The official wording by CMR was that he was withdrawing from the team to focus on his academic work, which does sound more like personal problems than him not performing up to snuff. If he wasn't good enough to be on the UGA lineup, he could certainly have transferred to Georgia Southern, Furman, or some other local 1-AA or even D2 school. I just don't think football is a priority for him right now.

Lest this become the Seth Watts show...what's the word on King and Moreno? How are they performing?

King isn't expected at UGA until June. I'll check with my guy on how Moreno and others are doing. BTW, I wasn't saying that Watts left the team because he wasn't performing well. I simply was stating, as a separate issue, that he's basically an average OL and wasn't going to get a lot of playing time anyway.

Report I just got was that Moreno is looking VERY good and Stafford stated that he was glad Bailey was back and expected to help the team tremendously this year (stretch the field).
