Dawg of the Month

Usually, folks, as we approach the football season, I post a Dawg of the Week for the last eight pigskin-free weeks. However, it is unbelievably obvious -- in light of the below article -- that the only Dawg we can talk about this month is Leonard Pope. Great news. Water has always terrified me for the kids even though we teach them to swim early.

dapolla, you being a swimmer, really makes you appreciate Leonard Pope. Was not going to say this but will. I lost a 2 year old son in a drowning accident. Good on Leonard Pope.

Buc....I'm SO very sorry to hear that. I have 5 kids and I can't even imagine going through something like that. Will not go further only to say God Bless you and your family.

Buc, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. What Big Pope did is very honorable. It's nice to hear stories about Pro Athletes that doesn't concern money.
