So I tune into the Georgia - Winthrop baseball game last night and it's 6-0 Winthrop in the 6th. Over the next three innings, the Diamond Dawgs scored six runs to tie the game up, and in the ninth Ryan Peisel scored on a double play ball thrown into the outfield by the Winthrop 3rd baseman. Seven unanswered runs and a W for the Diamond Dawgs! A true thriller, made even sweeter by the fact that Winthrop is VERY good this year (I should know, I teach there).
Now I can root for both teams again, especially today, for my WInthrop Eagles against the Climpson Purple Kitties. Go Eagles, and...
