While it may not be as exciting as football or basketball to many people, please note that the Georgia Men's Tennis team has advanced to the finals of the ITA Indoor National Championship, where they'll play Ohio State this afternoon (2/19). The Dawgs have a chance to bring home their second consecutive indoor title, so root hard for Them Dawgs!!!

Georgia Repeats As USTA/ITA Indoor National Champion

Georgia defeated Ohio State 4-0

CHICAGO, Ill. --- The No. 1-ranked University of Georgia men’s tennis team (8-0) defeated No. 2 Ohio State (9-1) by a score of 4-0 in Chicago Monday, becoming the sixth team ever to repeat as champion at the ITA Team Indoor National Championship. The match was clinched by No. 2-ranked senior John Isner (Greensboro, N.C.) as he defeated Bryan Koniecko, 6-3, 6-, clinching his second straight match and locking up the Georgia win. Not only did Georgia repeat as champion but the Bulldogs have won both of those championship matches by a 4-0 score, becoming the only team ever to do so.
