I like the Jay Rome kid also, however, I dont know how much we are going to see him this year w/ teh depth we have at his position. He is really going to have to bust his tail to take that spot away.

Im looking for a big year from Jarvis Jones, the U$C transfer. From what I understand the dude is just a HOSS.

I am also looking for Ogletree to make crazy noise at the LB position. He just flies to the ball and could knock the bill off a duck.

Big John Jenkins......has the skill to play in the SEC...he will be a force for sure....

If Rome is as good as his Dad.......and I think he is probably better......he will be a big factor once he learns the system.....

Watched his dad play in HS..........UNBELIEVABLE athlete.

Since you guys all picked newcomers, I'll say that the guy that is going to make a HUGE impact this year will be Ogletree moving to LB. He is a Thomas Davis hitter with more instinctive football skills. Would be looking for him if I were an opposing RB coming through a hole.  :woohoo:

Yeah, he did it all......WR, safety, punt returner, kickoff returner. Could take it to the house at any time.

Geez, went to Clemson and played basketball.

It's that time where all the "fresh fish" are arriving at thier home for the next 4 (hopefully) years. Other than the obvious (Crowell), who are some of the new guys who yall think could make an immediate impact on this years team? This list doesnt really have to be strictly incoming freshmen....

DAWG1277, had to add another name to the list after reading your original post in this thread. Jarvis Jones. We have heard a lot about him since his transfer from USC. Think that the link below backs up what we have been hearing since his arrival on campus. TEAM.

A lot of guys like him got burnt out on football in the Valdosta system.....it was a year around thing under Bazemore......remember working with a young man who played for the Cats and had a full ride to Auburn and turned it down because he was "burnt out" under Nick Hyder.....just did not want to play the game anymore......
