A UF coach I respect?

Will Muschamp setting the bar? A UF coach that actually stands up for that is right? Could it be? CWM dismissed cb Jenkins. The best cb they have after only being there for around a month or so. He just may have earned my respect back. Even after all his comments about temp insanity for playing at UGA! Well done Will! Well done! Get rid of the trash Urban Liar let into the program!

Goooooo Dawgs...Sic'em...Woof Woof Woof!!!

I hate anything in orange, but there is a level above college athletics that means a lot more. I agree that finally SOMEONE appears to have done the right thing and gotten rid of a thug.

Hoodlums, unfortunately, sometimes tend to be athletically gifted. Some college coach was the first to realize that and took advantage of it, and everyone has been doing it since, except Vanderbilt (where it was at least recently forbidden to swear), probably Stanford, Brigham Young and MAYBE Northwestern. Probably few coaches took advantage of it more than guys like Tom Osborne and Jimmy Johnson. But it seems nobody is completely innocent. (Even our own coach, who is frequently derided simply because of his Christianity, played Odell Thurman.)

It's nice to hear that one coach at a genuine football program (that's as much compliment as I'll EVER - grudgingly - give Florida) has done the right thing. In one way it weakens his team, but in a MUCH GREATER SENSE it will VASTLY STRENGTHEN his team.

Now we need to remember that this year and PICK THAT CORNER APART!

Interestingly, and in keeping with the subject of this thread, I'm sure everyone has seen the article in the AJC in which THIS comment was made:

"One question had to do with the future of running back Washaun Ealey, who at various times has been injured and suspended.

“Washaun Ealey has a long way to go to prove to me he deserves to be part of this team,” Richt said."

Things that make you say, "hmmmmm". :S

Still hate all things orange.

If he wants my respect he must do the following:

1. Cure cancer (all of them)
2. Get the federal government cut back to within the Constitutional envelope.
3. Post nudes of Hayden Pantierre and Emmi Rossum
4. World Peace
5. Get cold fusion working
6. 90% efficient solar panels.
7. hand deliver a BMW S54 engine with 6 speed to my house to put in my old BMW.
8. cure male pattern baldness.

When Will Muschump does these things I can respect the orange. Until then he is the enemy.

WM had to choice, imo.......way too much public knowledge of Jenkin's arrests. When there IS a choice (and he can keep some facts "under rap") let's wait to see how he handles it. Until then, I'm holding my opinion on WM.

BUT.....it's at least the right start.
