Good Morning . . . .
Could not agree more that it appears Grantham is being listened to.
Don't know all of the facts but Richt spent time fishing on a cold morning in South Georgia with a "defensive recruit". On the other hand he did spend a lot of time in Columbus with a "offensive recruit". Both young men should mean a lot to UGA football soon.
Quite frankly have come to the conclusion that we all have talents in one way or the other. More and more it appears that Richt's ability to recruit is his special calling.
Would not be surprised to see Grantham's name pop up somewhere down the road for a level higher than the one he has now. So looking forward to watching a proud UGA defense again.
With you yd1 on Lakatos. We don't hear much about him, and that is a really good sign coming off of a 6-7 year. A lot of the talk has been about the talent that is in Athens, think most of us agree there is a lot of that. Lakatos, like Grantham had a year to get to know his personnel. ogredawg mentioned Ogletree #9 in another thread. Lakatos is aware of #9 and several others now. This should also be mentioned, Lakatos had to sit with Grantham and figure out or be instructed as to how Grantham's 3/4 works. Lots of different schemes whether 4/3 or 3/4. These guys will be on the same page this year. Could be fun to watch.
Have a great day . . . . Go Dawgs!!
