I see everyone is back from the Super Bowl. It helps me a little with those \"in between season blues\". No matter who you were predicting to win who would have though the game would go the way it did.
Here is a web site remodeling update:
Some of the new folks are uploading animated avatars. A blinking graphic on the screen is a major distraction. For this reason we have never allowed them. Please upload non animated graphics if you want to get them approved.
The Sages who had more priviledges in the old system will have some of themadded back as the remodeling goes on. It takes a while to get those type of things working so don't expect them for a while toward the end of the remodeling.
I saw a comment about the forum being too narrow. I agree it seems too narrow. The size and location of items are going to be adjusted as we evolve the format. Easy forum navigation and viewing is a top priority.
Of course if you are using an 800x600 format the forum is going to be squeezed. It's past time to get a 1024 wide monitor. The prices for them are near 100.00. If anyone is stuck with an 800x600 monitor let me know and I might be able to format the screen different for you.
Otherwise I am moving on from the 800x600 format and will only be formatting the screen for 1024 widths and above. I have a 1280 wide LCD screen that costs under 300.00. Some are under 200.00 at the discounters like tigerdirect.com
Over the next couple of months we will be tweaking things and adding more stuff. It will take us a while to get all the kinks worked out.
Now is the time to get those suggestions and comments in to me. Add them to this thread.
