With ya on tradition, wlayton, and on the topic of tradition you brought up the silver britches, so I ask again (not to you, of course, but in general), as I do usually once a year, why can't we go back to the shiny SILVER britches, as opposed to the dull gray britches we've sported for some time now???

Hands down, without a doubt, put the REAL silver britches ON sadlerdawg!!!!!!

(well, not you.....unless you want to) :woohoo: :woohoo:

I've mentioned this before and it may be a dumb question but why does UGA have to come from the Seiler family? There are plenty of white English Bulldogs out there that are healthy.

This line has been inbred for over a half of a century and it's clear they are not very healthy. It's time to pick from another family line.

I suggest having a competition between several different entrants and pick the best looking and most talented.

Not sure if there is a contract, but I know that they always have. They have bred English Bulldogs for ages, and it’s a long-standing tradition.

TRADITION.......in this case a little competition could be a good thing.

Kind of like the royal family, I guess.
Seriously, bulldogs are not the healthiest of breeds. They are all inbred.
There's a running joke how veterinarians plan their next vacation around a bulldog exam.
UGA VI lived to be ten, in bulldog years, a hundred.
I think we're having some bad luck. The Seilers do their best to expand the bloodline.
To all those who think bulldogs are so cute, don't purchase a bulldog, unless you're willing to share the sofa, listen to constant snoring, smell a lot of farts and deal with an animal that is as stubborn as they are cute. Also, be ready to invest a lot of time and money.
They will reward you with being the best friend you will ever have.

Yeah wlayton, they do things when they decide it fits their value system.
I agree, they are very intelligent dogs.
Even the Dog Whisperer finds bulldogs to be his biggest challenge.
