Hopefully some of these highly ranked recruits can contribute early. Does no good to win the recruiting battles and lose during the fall. Getting an earful from the gator fans about this fact.
Most of us know that the talent to turn this UGA/UF thingy around resides in Athens. Maybe McGarity impressed our coaches with that fact. From a recruiting standpoint, they heard the AD. Many saying this could be Richt's best class ever.
One more thing, we come away with all of the recruits that are left on our "wish list" there is going to be tremendous pressure on our coaches to make it work. Excuses won't work with a class like this and the players that are already in position in Athens.
As some say, close counts in horseshoes, last year AM had a brain fart. The bet here is that one play will make AM twice the quarterback that he was before the UF miscue. Some of the chatter on other boards are saying AM will have a sophomore slump. Line up at my window, covering all bets, AM is the real deal. Some have arms, others have brains, AM was blessed.
