Agree - vandy could very well be THE best team in the SEC - wish they had not lost to those chickens the other night - would be GREAT if we could pull this one off

Hope the Dawgs can pull it out. Have been loving the way they continue to dig through every game. Football players could take some lessons about heart. The BB team has come a long way in a short time. Nice to see players play like a team and with enthusiasm. Don't see a lot of "me" guys out there. Game is on the local SEC channel out of Jacksonville, FL down here and is also an ESPN gameplan game on Direct TV. Don't know how much a single BB game costs but have purchased single football games before.

I'm not going to drag this thread down another path of what's wrong with the football team. Will say that I am impressed with Mark fox to every degree. Feel I can say that after a tough road loss for a couple of reasons.

1) Fire! Did you see the fire burning in that man this entire game. His desire and enthusiasm goes a long way throughout that team. Even took a technical late in the second half to make a point with the refs. Did anyone notice how he gathered the team while Vandy shot the free throws for the technical. Coaching every moment. Developing his team. Almost makes me wonder if he took that technical on purpose to get his team's attention and a chance to coach them up without using a timeout.

2)Uses that possibly saved timeout from the technical with two seconds left in the game before Vandy inbounds the ball with the game obviously over. Pulls his team together and uses that moment and timeout to get their attention, coach them up and make a point. Wish I knew what he was telling them because every one of those kids were focused on him and what he was saying.

That my friends is a true leader and coach IMO.

Even tho we lost 73-66 it was a good game on the road in a very hostile place against probably the best team in the sec for now

Fox is intense to say the least

Lost their focus a couple of times - but they kept fighting back - didnot give up

At ole miss saturday

I watched Fox coach at Nevada, an intense guy.
Hard to win at Memorial, Cameron lite.
Glad to see Duke get beat.
On to Ole Miss and a road win in the SEC.

Fox sports south (appropriate) is going to carry the ole miss game sat 5pm
