Dawg basketball has been cardiac this season. Strings of one and two point wins that come down to the final play. But, at least we've been on the winning side of all the close ones. 11-2 going into the SEC opener against Kentucky. Makes the overtime loss to ND and the loss to Temple (both ranked at the time we played them) sting even more. I firmly believe that with a few changes here and there we would be 13-0 right now. Time to make some noise and see if CMF can get this ship righted. They are going to have to go like 10-6 in conference play to make it to the dance. These last couple games it looks like the trend of playing just enough above the competition to eek out a win is trying to resolve itself and they are getting ready to hit their stride. A win against UK would do wonders for our morale and momentum through the rest of the SEC stretch.

I hope CMF has a picture of CMR, CTG, and the 2010 Georgia Bulldogs Football Team up in the locker room as examples of people who don't inspire you and you shouldn't aspire to be like. Come on hoops dawgs, let's succeed where football failed!

Agree chemdawg

They haven't played up to their potential YET - At least they have WON the games they were supposed to

Will be a rough start - UK & Vandy first 2 games - they are the only SEC teams ranked right now - would be good start to at least split those

agree that we probably will need to win about 10 sec games - it's doable - could win all 6 against the west teams (none of them look to be real good - maybe miss st) and would help to split UK/VAN/UF/UT and take both from SC

Womens team looks to be good as usual - but not great - maybe andy will retire after 800 uga wins - the sec does not dominate the women like they used to

GO DAWGS
