Good Morning All,

Even for a Yankee it is damn cold in Athens this week. Tuesday morning at 5AM it was a balmy 16 when “Georgia” went out to do her morning business. She is one smart dog, when it gets below 30 she has no time to mess with the birds or squirrels. Get it done and back into the warm house.

Not much to report from the local “Dawg” coffee crowd this week. It is still the consensus that more changes will take place after our bowl game. Most of the week was spent watching the coaching changes in college football.

With all the recruits in town last weekend and the positive feedback we may land a few surprises as CL promised. I just hope we don’t have another DaRick looming this year. With DaRick the jury is still out on what we missed out on. As of late not much.

The wife has reminded me only one-week left before Christmas to do my shopping. I have searched both the Orvis and LL Bean catalogs and can’t find a 340Lbs available Nose Tackle. If a SEC QB and Heisman winner costs 200k I think…… maybe it might be best to look for a red sweater and avoid what surely would be a nuclear responses from the NCAA toward Georgia.

Running eggnog tests this weekend making sure that I recall the secret formula before Christmas Eve.

Have a great weekend and a safe week. As always “Go Dawgs”

Good morning and we were cold down this way also. Did not dip to 16, did get down in the middle 20's. yankeedawg1, this is the time of year when things slow a bit, as you know. Won't be long before the pressure cooker has reached 15 psi. Team needs to focus on Memphis, a loss there would not be good. I am familiar with both teams, UGA could and should put points on the board. UCF can be had with tight ends being used. AM should be able to read the zone coverages that UCF uses a lot. My daughter is coming up from South Florida to spend a week with us, she is a UCF grad, lots of good natured ribbing will occur in this household. Have a great weekend, and thanks.

We need a "Filson" nose guard.
Might as well have the best.

Yes yd1 it's been cold - was below 10 two mornings this week - snow/ice finally melted thursday - georgia has the right idea - if you have to get out in this mess - do what you gotta do and get back inside

I agree think we may have a coaching change or two after the bowls - was interesting that MD gave ralph the boot even after he was named acc coach of the year - and who knows what texas is up too - think we will see a whole lot of changes once the bowl games are over

Only one that's sounded like he may change is that wesley guy out of camilla - he has a LOT of speed - would be nice to keep him in the fold

Sounds like they are really after that Jenkins kid for NT - CTG and company went to see him in miss last week and then garner went to conn to his home yesterday

Just remember the more eggnog tests you run the better it gets

Buc - the 20's is MIGHTY cold for you guys - hope the crops didn't get too much damage - well the only thing about this game at your house is whoever wins - someone will be happy

I sure hope we are ready to play this game - I'm worried - they will definately be out to beat us if they can - am hoping for big farwell performance from aj and durham and AM just moving on up in the record books

I'm a little concerned about memphis - have heard that its a very unsafe place - saw where they had the highest percentage of gang members in the country per 100m people - expect the law will doing their best to keep the game area safe as possible - not many safe areas left anymore anyway

GO DAWGS
