agree with you wlayton--he is the most dominant I have ever seen. I put him even with Hershel for this reason: they each faced a defense hell bent on stopping them and no one could.

I actually think he may be more dominant than hershel for this season he just had b/c even Hershel had an "averahe" game every once in a while

Newton, like Tebow before him is a function of the scheme. He is a big, reasonably fast kid. He is not an all time great.

And Alabama stopped him nicely in the first half then imploded.

Totally right. Auburn is more than CN. He has moves, so did Jim Brown, best ever, nope.

Would like to have seen CN play against Bama's defense last year. Team loses 9 players from the defense and then hands them the game in Tuscaloosa, apples and oranges.
