OSD......do you remember how FAST we play on that surface?? We fly around all over the place on that turf.....looks like we have 13 on D. I'm great with playing in the Dome in Atlanta. Not sure BSU has ever played against that kind of speed. They played OU on natural grass.

Hey Wlayton, Yes we will be fast and I am not afraid of them, I just dont want to go to the Dome. I had rather be in Athens and turf causes more injuries, and when we beat them everyone will say well you should have beat um. But if we lose everyone will say OH bs beat an SEC team and then we will hear it all yr long and then that will set us up bad for ss and usc. I jus would have felt better with playing a scrub team for our first game like most programs do especially with our D and us losing AJ. cause I know we will come out passing no matter what and we wont be ready that first game, even if we have the best RB in the country. They jus will not get it threw there heads for some reason they had rather throw the ball 50 times and lose than run it and control the game and win. anyway I hope you and all have a good Thanksgiving. Oldsouth, I would not consider Louisville a scrub team and thats who we were scheduled to play before the announcement. Boise will be a top 10 team again next year when they get off the plane in Atlanta. I don't understand why everyone does not give Boise credit for having a good football team? They might not have the toughest schedule but I think only three "top notch BCS schools" have scheduled them, Oregon, Va Tech, and UGA everyone else is scared of what your saying. If you win your should've and your teams a joke if you loose. I give Boise credit, they might not be able to play week in and week out in the top BCS confrences but they can show up and give you one hell of a game once or twice a year. i think they would be disappointed if they lost to an unranked UGA team next year. They will have more at stake in the whole scheme of things were we will be playing for that good ole southern football pride!

I guess IMO, If I was UGA I would be more concerned with planing for ss and usc. because I know ss will have his guys practicing for us all summer waiting. I am sure they will play a scrub before us. just wished our guys planned ahead the same. We should be concerned with learning how to stop the Run and learning how to RUN. Because I can promise all of yall that next season will be the same as always. The team that will win the SEC will be the team that can run it down your throat wheather it be by QB or RB and also have a solid D that stops the run. its really that simple. once your team can do those things then passing is the icing on the cake IMO.

I am happy about the BSU game next year. Like I have said all along, IMO, next year is a break year for Richt. Either he gets it done, or he is done. Don't want to make it easy on him. We should beat a team like BSU. If we are prepared, physical, and play fast we will be fine. Little news on BSU. They lose Titus Young, Bettis, and Avery. If you have watched them play, those are 3 serious components to their success. Kellen Moore is a great player though. Should be fun. Playing in games like these, and winning them, help recruiting. Going to be a huge national stage, and the first one of the year. What a chance to sale our University to future recruits.

SC is going to be strong. Wouldn't matter who we had or what coach we had. They are flat out good offensively. We recruited Lattimore extremely hard. He loved UGA. Sometimes kids just don't want to leave state though. I really thought it wouldn't hurt us that much considering the way our backs were performing at the end of last year. Boy, was I wrong. Still scratching my head about the play of our RB's. Greatly disappointed overall with them.

I think we will be much improved next year. I will never count AM out. He will get guys to step up on that offense. I think the defense is going to have to improve. Not that they aren't, but they aren't even close to were a championship D needs to be. Believe CTG can get them there. Have a lot of experience back in his system. Plus, he seems awfully excited about Jones. Kid has to be a player. Hopefully, he stays healthy. I wouldn't be surprised to see RS make a big impact on D next year. Not going to be to many LB's faster than this guy.

Can understand the concerns. Hell, we all have them. But there is a lot to be encouraged about for next year's team. As Ben Crenshaw said, "I am a big believer in fate. I have a good feeling about tomorrow (next year in our case), that's all I am going to say."
