Fairley's A Thug

Buc, right on. Fairley is a beast, but I must say our O line did a pretty nice job of containing him all game. The only time the guy was getting noticed was when he was hitting Murray late.

Agree a little about the O Line ecdawg, but they were blocking him. He was taking his shots after they had already done their job.

I hope he gets all that he deserves in the bama game. Newton is going to get busted, but I am happy he played against us. Us beating them without him would have always had an asterisk beside that win in the minds of AU fans. I wanted him to play, and I wanted us to kick the a**. Just didn't happen.

To me it is sad that we have to hope that our players take a shot at Fairley. Sad that they have to try to become the ones regulating a game. They are not the ones getting paid for it, and they are the ones that will get suspended. What about the officials Slive? Instead of constantly threatening coaches for their actions, how about you threaten some officials? What happened Saturday was totally unacceptable, and totally avoidable if the guys wearing the stripes had done their jobs.

Good Job Slive, Keep reprimanding coaches and players, while our officials have become totally unacceptable.

Defense is and has always been a focal point for UGA fans. My thoughts are this . . . go heavy duty with folks that can protect AM and the others on that side of the ball. Too bad what happened to Sturdivant over the years, he had his problems protecting against the Thug U defense. Knee injuries are really hard to come back from, as you know, I am quite sure.

Posted concerning AM getting hurt, he was in the pocket when they nailed him Saturday. Use those wheels AM. He has said that he is ok and will be fine. Him saying that convinces me.

I am so looking forward to Thug U and UGA between the hedges.

Must say this . . . . . never, ever have I pulled for SS to win a football game. Saturday night, I was on his side. Can't believe I said that . . . . :blush:

AD5, you are so on again with the comment about Fairley. TV showing all of his cheap ass shots, or some of them. There was a big hoop-t-do in the NFL last week about a spitting incident. A shot like this ranks right up there.

Think maybe Coach Chizzy picked this goon up when he first arrived at Auburn and went to the high schools in the Caddys. Believe we have something close to another Kiffin roaming the sidelines in the SEC. This one is going to cause Slive problems.

The absolute worst officiated game I have ever seen.

I agree averagedawg, how can you not love these guys (one exception maybe....uh, Rambo?)

Love them going to battle for each other, just like a major league pitcher knocking down an opposing batter if he wronged a teammate. Gotta love it.
