As crazy as this may seem. I wish we would have taken longer to score on many of our drives. Our "D" was out there way to long and got tired. A tired "D" with a new scheme hurts in the long run.
I still think CMR has to go. I am however very pleased to see him showing more emotion on the sidelines. I like fire out of my coach. If he stays (which I am sure he will) I want to see more of that next season. A fired up coach gets his team fired up. You can stick to your values and be fired up. It's not stated anywhere that you have to cuss to get fired up. The big plays are still killing us. Once we get some meat in the middle, our "D" should be a heck of a lot better. Just my opinion.
Looks like the players ARE playing hard for somebody
Btw, in our 8 SEC games the offense has averaged 29 ppg (3 without AJ....AND a redshirt freshman).......the defense has averaged giving up 25 ppg. Imo the D should at the MOST average giving up 17 ppg (believe BVG averaged giving up between 16-17 ppg).
29 ppg should be able to get you to Atlanta.
