Have to disagree. No one has a one back only system any more. Not Saban, Not Peterson, Not Meyer, Not Carrol/Kiffin, etc... I am not going to say that it is Richt'style, or that I agree with the current trend, but our backs have been so up and down I can't blame CMR. KM established himself, ran hard, and hung onto the football. Result, he got the majority of the carries. We have not had a back establish themselves since KM. Ealey had his chance to be the top guy, but two costly game changing fumbles took him out of that role. Don't give these guys anything. Make them compete everyday. Putting up stats against the worst rush D in the SEC and one of the worst in the country does not impress me that much. Ealey ran hard no doubt, but he has not been consistent. A couple of his TD's were a product of the defense's success in creating a short field, and quick change.
I like Ealey, but to me, none of the back's have shown enough consistency to be named the go-to guy.
