...without even listening to his hackneyed drivel, he'll make excuses couched in the warm and fuzzy safety of "...but they played their hearts out." Here's a fun game. You be coach Richt. You say something Richty here by way of making excuses for our ineptitude. I'll start.

"Well, I thought the offense had some real opportunities. Those turnovers were costly, but there were only two of them and they really weren't our fault. Boy, this Colorado team was really prepared today, and today they were the better team. Right now, we need to go back to Athens and review the tape. On top of that, we'll do some soul searching to find out what is wrong with the program. However, next week, it'll be pretty much the same old same old."

richt: "The SEC is a really tough league to play in and..."

Random reporter: "But Coach, Colorado isn't in the SEC."

richt: "Really? Oh. What I meant to say was the thin air here is really hard to play in and Bobo called a great game but Murray is still a freshman and the defense played their hearts out but they're still learning the 3-4 and we've got to stay the course and we've got to stick together because if we don't we can't win..."

Random reporter: "But Coach, you haven't really won much this year."

richt: "True, but look at my overall record since becoming head coach. And besides, you're just a reporter who doesn't understand football since you've never been in the arena."
