Remember the string of DC rejections last year...

Remember last year when we were looking to replace CWM how a bunch of prospective defensive coordinators, including Kirby Smart and the guys from LSU and Virginia Tech, rejected offers from Georgia and we ended up getting our 5th or 6th choice in CTG? I can't help but wonder if what is going on now had something to do with that. They saw the writing on the wall and realized CMR had had his day in the sun and that the Georgia program was irreversably headed down the tubes. They didn't want to be a part of the big mess that was about to unfold. I cannot imagine any other supposedly top flight program going through that many rejections before finally getting their man. Florida or Texas certainly would not have to settle for their #5 choice of defensive coordinator.

UGA has lost control of this program, both on and off the field. Now is our new athletic director's time to shine. Let's go after CCP from Boise State full force.

I just can't believe this is happining, I have been reading articles all morning and CMR and the players keep making excusses. It is mistakes, fumbles ect ect. How is is that us fans, the media we all can watch the same game and see no emotion, lack of effort no discipline.

You then hear CMR and BOBO make all the excusses, we are a family, we will not quit, we will regroup. How can the D stop our tight ends from play ever game, how can our receivers never get open. It seems like they have 2 cover guys on every receiver and they have 7 or 8 guys rushing. I mean they can only play 11 same as us, but every D we have faced, they have been all over the field. When we are on D you see none of our players, they are all on the ground or maybe hiding behind another player taking a drink.

I also am so sick of hearing about AJ coming back and the Offense will be better now. If any of you think we are going to Colorodo and just because AJ is back we will win, I got some ocean front property here in Augusta that I will give you. We would not have won last night every with AJ. Aj does not play D, and AJ does not block to keep AM from getting sacked for the 100th time.

I feel for CMR, for he does not know what to do, he has never been in this situation before, but he has done this to himself, BOBO had no proven OC experience, he was just a college QB, not experience is designing plays.

Oh enough of the chatter, will wait and see what happens during the week.

It starts at the top. The top man sets the tone for the rest of the team. I almost wonder if CMR has some personal issues he's dealing with to look so damn complacent and careless. It's been that way for 2 years boy and girls. Am I the only one that's noticed it?

I go back to some of the mic'd practice videos. There's no fire at all. No in your face fire anywhere in him. That my dawg friends is where it started and it bled into our players.

I'm not on the "FIRE CMR" bandwagon yet but he needs to change his whole attitude first. Then, makes some changes to the staff (Bobo needs to be the 1st to pack bags). Second, instill some fire and motivation to the team with a kick A55 mentality. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION attitude. Scream, holler, cuss, raise hell. Do something for god's sake.

I was reading some of the articles from the Macon paper, and CMR refuses to make any changes other that maybe relook at players. He will not take the play calling away from CMB, saying that changes in mid season will make matters worse, must stay the course. This man is stubborn and just does not get it.
