I know I commented on coaching on another threat, but after watching Tenn play, I thought I'd start up another. Tenn has all new coaches, and they are giving Fla fits, Ky has a new head coach, I now joker phillips was on staff, but look at how they are playing. Vandy has a new coach, sure they have lost but not by much, and they beat Old Miss today. We have experience offensive coaches and experience at every postion with the expection of QB. This to me was a no brainer, the offense would carry the D until the D jelled. The offensive coaches as well as players have been a disappointment. Look at the sacks taken by Am what 5 against SC and 6 today. We sacked Mallett 1 time. Can you honestly sit back at look at things as a whole over the past 4 years and tell me that we do not have problems. I really like CMR, but I don't think he has a clue as to how to fix the problem. Most of you say give him time, he will get us the NC. A man that has to use gimicks to get his team fired up, has run out of or does not know what to do to lead this team or future teams. Have you seen Ala come out with different Helments and jerseys, Fla, LSU, Ohio State, they have never beaten an SEC team, maybe they sould use some gimick to overcome the hurdle.
I don't have the answers, I am just making an observation, and telling it as I see things. I have never waivered from my point on view since I have been on this board, and I have stated over the past 3 years that this program is getting worse each year. We win 8 games go to a bowl, and hope next year will be better. It is not and it getting worse. I pray to god that I am wrong and we win the rest of or games, or at worst will 8 or 9, but as I said on othe treads, I seriously doubt we manage to win 6 games.
