Forget AJ Green....

Our D is spotting 14 points to Arkansas on complete and pathetic breakdowns in coverage. I thought our D was improving. This could be a long year folks.

I still like Grantham better than Martinez though..... for now.

Sigh.

CTG had nothing to do with the crop of players on the field. Give him 3 years and see where we are and then the judgement on him is valid.

Have to agree that CTG did not chose the hand he was dealt so to speak. I am questioning how we gave Arkansas 14 points at best or even 21 points if you consider the last Ark TD a gimmie as well. For the first two TDs, there was no defender within 10 yards of the receiver!!!

I could see something like this happneing in High School once or twice in a game but two or even three times at an SEC School! No way. I watched the UF vs Tenn game and I did not see anything close to the type of breakdown in coverages that we had against Arkansas. UF has a new DC and Tenn has a new HC. Both teams looked very good. I am glad we do not play them until later this year because either team would hand us a heck of a walloping at this point.

I am intensely loyal to UGA and this football team but I am also very concerned about their preformance this year. CTG is brand new and I understand that his schemes and D need to gel with the players which will take time. I still cannot get over the breakdowns though. I mean when you play (or used to play) football with friends didn't you cover every receiver?
