South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said Georgia’s defense “looked well-prepared and positioned to play pretty much every snap except one.” You know which one.

And then Spurrier got hyperbolic, saying Georgia “has maybe as good a pass rush as anybody in the country right now, the way it looked this past Saturday.”

Spurrier, who had a free Saturday to watch football since his team played on Thursday last week, was asked if any teams across the country particularly impressed him. “You mean other than Jacksonville State?” he replied.

Spurrier on what’s coming up Saturday in Columbia: “It’s extremely important and should be a heck of a game.”

Love that Spurrier said that about our pass rush. Speaking of the pass rush, I hope Garcia will study the film hard because he'll see all the pressure we got on the QB. Then he'll realize his line isn't the best and we ran a relatively vanilla scheme on D to not give too much away. Let's let him ponder on that for a whole week. Looking forward to this one should be another great one.

Spurrier is always talking crap and I dont think he has realized SC will never compete of serious contention year in and year out, they gave up 400 yards to an average team, I am glad we didnt hire their D-cord away from them.

I fully expect a 15-20 point win, especially if AJ is back
