The attitude and fire displayed Coach Grantham was great to see. And watching it carry over to the defensive players is fun to watch. A hard hitting, aggressive D, wow!!! Been missing for far too long. Not only was there the display of fire by CTG after the blown assignment, but he was pretty animated when the D got confused and called a TO when we were ahead by 17. Great to see. Looks like the WM coddling of players is a thing of the past (good riddance!)
GO DAWGS!!!![/quote
sadlerdawg, posted the below quote from BR in another thread. This is where I should have posted the following . . .
]Not even on the third and fourth times that Georgia’s fiery new defensive coordinator screamed in his general direction on the sideline after Rambo allowed Louisiana-Lafayette’s only touchdown Saturday.
“That’s what we needed,” Rambo said. “All that talking he was doing, that yelling, that didn’t really get to me, it just motivated me to go out and make plays and make up for that play I gave up. That’s part of coaching, what he was doing.”
And, Rambo said, Grantham’s energy and anger is exactly what Georgia’s defense needed after a string of poor performances the past two seasons that led to Georgia coach Mark Richt firing three defensive assistants last December.

Think ss sees this year as his chance to finally break thru - they sure do have a lot of good big receivers - our db's are going to have their hands full - doubt we will be as successful putting pressure on sc as we did this week

SS has a running back this year, will be interesting to see how he uses him. Also, his running back had a bit of history in high school . . . . fumbles on occasion.
Hope the game is called fairly for BOTH SIDES. None of the LSU crap for this game.

RabunDog, no doubt there will be a war in Columbia. Love it. That is what SEC football is all about, the thing that separates us from the rest of college football.

You know Buc, I believe that LSU fiasco call last year is going to work to our benefit for a couple of years. Ref's aren't going to throw ridiculous flags at us for a while because of that call last year.......imo.
