Dawg Moment(s) of the Week

I have been remiss in my duties. I have promised you one Bulldog moment per week, and it has been TWO WEEKS! So here are a couple of moments for you to reminisce on.

1) Vince Dooley's last game, against Michigan State in the Gator Bowl, 1988.
2) Matthew Stafford's and Knowshon Moreno's last game, against Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl, 2009.

1988 Gator Bowl - His last game being at J'ville was appropriate - he had a pretty good record against them gators their - Hampton had a GREAT game

2009 Capital one - good game - stafford had 2 td passes - one to moreno

The biggest thing I remember about the Gator Bowl was that Dooley did a "reverse Dooley" and really aired it out. He pretty much scratched the run and threw the ball all over the field. Fun to watch and actually believe Dooley had fun doing it. Great game, both teams went up and down the field......they both just let it all hang out........oh, nice win too. :woohoo:


Don't even remember much about the MSU game except we stopped their supposedly great back......what was his name again?

Javon Ringer. Think I only remember him b/c he nows plays on the Titans squad as a backup to Chris Johnson. Man that was one sweet catch KM made on that TD to lock that game up for the Dawgs.

With Vince's last game, I remember the speech he made afterwards about how proud he was to end his coaching career in Jacksonville.

With the Capital One Bowl, I remember being down 6-3 at halftime. And I remember that Matthew Stafford threw his last UGA TD pass to Knowshon, and that Knowshon scored his last UGA TD on that reception.
