Steve.....question

Sorry about starting a new thread on this but.....

Many times when I pull up posts to read, it takes FOREVER to come up. Does anybody else have this problem? I isn't my computer, I use my computer at work which is top of the line. Geez, the posts should be coming up quickly when I click on them (sometimes it does but more times than not, it is very slow). Actually anything I try to click and move to is slow.

Steve, is there something on your end that could correct this?

Anybody else noticed this (you would have to)?

I've noticed it also - mostly in the last couple of weeks - at first the new layout was a lot quicker than before - just figured the slow down was because of contiuned work on the site

Same here--I thought it was my dated home computer, but we have a brand new computer at work with a cable connection and each page takes 10-15 seconds to load.

Whew!!........thought I was going crazy (happens in my business). :S

I have turned off news feeds and everything else on forum page. You have to go to the home page to read the news.

We turned on all caches and stuff like that to speed up things.

We usually do this at the end of a development cycle like we have done lately.

Is it faster now. I shoot for less than 5 seconds. Time it and let me know.

Oops, spoke too soon....after my edit, back to the forum was slow.
