RabunDog, can't disagree with that pick either. Ward is definitely not a step down. I just hope that we can continue what Coach Searels has started on the offensive side of the ball. Coach Searels has and is doing a remarkable job.

Sure would like to see us get ward and a few other of the good players in south and west georgia - we've got a couple so far

We've been losing too many for too long to auburn and fsu from those areas of the state - I know those schools are closer than Athens but we need to work hard to re-claim those areas of the state

I'm hoping the work the coaches did in the state wide tour begin to pay off - we need to secure the southern and western borders from all intruders

Read a tidbit elsewhere this morning that Gabe Wright has dropped UGA to fourth on his list. Apparently he did not have a good visit in Athens. Article mentioned that his Mom was sick, that can affect a lot of things. While I would like to see Gabe in Athens, it won't be the life and death of this recruiting class. I really like where our coaches have situated themselves in this "New Operation" of hitting the ground running. Lots of quality folks do like Athens and all the City has to offer.

Yeah Buc - saw where we dropped from 3rd to 4th - did not expect we had much of a chance of getting him

Hopefully we can get that Chris Mayes out of Griffin - he's not ranked quite as high as Gabe but still very good - last look we're still tops on his list - he has a lot of offers - hopefully we can close the deal
