Folks, we're eight weeks out from kickoff, and you know what that means: time for our weekly Dawg memories! The last two years I've done a Dawg of the Week, but this year I'm changing it up. This year I'm going to give you eight MOMENTS that were crucial in UGA history, and we can discuss and reminisce and be extraordinarily happy. So post your thoughts as I post these moments. I'll post my own thoughts later in the week, after y'all have had a chance to have your say.
This week's Dawg Moment occurred in Week Two of the 2002 SEC Championship season. It was the Play of the Year in many people's minds, as sophomore defensive end David Pollack snatched the football out of SCarolina's quarterback's hands in the end zone, scoring one of the most amazing touchdowns in Georgia history.
So discuss! Memories of the moment, that game, that season, David Pollack, USC under Lou Holtz, or anything else that brings to mind.
