1stGame-Conservative? was created by RabunDog
2 months from today - the first game - LaLaf

Should we play it safe - be conservative - don't show what we might do

Or should we play aggressive - let it all hang out

What do you think and why

Conservative? Negative, negative, negative. Show what we got, set the bar. I'm really hoping CMR has learned that being nice to the cream puffs has hurt us in the past. I'm no fan of humiliating outclassed teams, but the way the polls work these days, a 21 point victory over ULL will hurt--need to hang at least 60 on'em.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

For me, the more weapons and diversity you show, the more things it gives upcoming opponents to think about and have to game plan for.

That being said, first you know CMR isn't going to show his hand and secondly, he's going to break in AM slowly.

Crush them.

Give South Carolina something to think about.

I don't know about you all, but I'm going to the SCarolina game (my first in Columbia). I want those boys to have so much in the tank for the Cocks that Spurrier retires at the end. You can be conservative against UL-Laf and still hang a bunch of points on them, because they WILL make mistakes (remember that 52-17 whopping of CMU the other year?). What you can't afford to do is go all-out against a Sun Belt school and hurt Caleb's knee or Murray's shoulder or Walsh's hamstring.

Don't know about you folks, but I'd rather beat ULL 45-21 and beat SCarolina 55-6.

Call me crazy...
