Damon Evans....IDIOT

WSB-TV is reporting that 28-year-old Courtney Fuhrmann, of Atlanta, was a passenger in Evans' car. The AJC has learned Fuhrmann was also arrested and booked at 1:26 a.m. Thursday at Atlanta City Jail for disorderly conduct -- roughly the same time Evans was booked. Both were released later this morning.

That would be a very MATURE & WIDELY-RESPECTED move on his part (to resign) & while I doubt this is a likely scenario you make a very valid point!

Not to change the subject but man, does ANYBODY know ANYBODY that bleeds Red & Black that doesn't just despise Adams??? (and if you personally know his mother that does not count)

Wow, Adams has to be right up there with Steve Spurrier as one of the most hated persons of all-time by Dawg fans.

I hate to say this, but...I agree with OldSouthDawg. Evans needs to resign.

By the by, has MFA made one good decision as President? He forced out Vince Dooley, was behind the Harrick/Harrick Jr. hire, received a no-confidence vote from the faculty, hired a $100K a year liason to ACC govt for no reason, cut faculty lines and salaries, and gave his office a $1mil renovation at the same time. Mind you, this is all while I was in grad school there (2002-05)!

Evans should resign...MFA should be hogtied to a rail and carried out of town!

Adams will not fire him because of several reasons

We may loose some recruits because of the parents that wanted to send their sons and daughters to participate in the different sports at UGA may not feel as comfortable now that you have the head guy in sports caught driving while drunk with a female companion that was not his wife

Does not matter if they were completely innocent - you cannot overcome public perception - which will not be good - that old saying you only get one chance to make a first impression - this is not a good first impression

This has placed a cloud over UGA that will not go away anytime soon
