Could Bobby Petrino and the Hogs be headed to the Big 12? Sources in the Big 12 say the Hogs have put out feelers about joining the Big 12.


Time for Bobby Petrino to make headlines again. Figures he can't make it in the SEC, time to return to the once upon a time (Southwest Conference). While I am no longer a Falcon, I did not appreciate what Petrino did to the Falcon Franchise. BP lacks one thing . . . a backbone. While this is chatter right now, rumors start somewhere, and sometimes hold a lot of truth. My wish for Falcon/UGA fans is that BP gets his butt handed to him in Athens. Send him away with another UGA win.

I know cowboy jones whats to keep the big12 champ game at his new billion$ stadium and he's a hog alum

Not sure big12 can give hogs the money they make being in the sec - they had to give all the extra to keep tex/okla/txa&m

don't think they would have any more of a chance of playing in big12 champ than sec champ game - they've been 3 times to the sec champ game and are 0-3 (UGA has also been 3 times - record 2-1)

actually txa&m came out the best with the most new money - they played the sec card pretty good

not realy worried - if they leave - sure slive will have someone just as good if not better

think he had done a pretty good job getting us ready if texas & company had gone to the pac10 - had us 4 new schools with 4 new tv markets ready to sign up - can't get any better than that

RabunDog, we garner dividends for a long history of top flight football. With the coaching that now exists in the SEC, no wonder so many of the top athletes choose to play with this group of winners. SEC keeps this pace up with great coaches and players, the conference can pick and choose as you suggest. This was earned by all of the folks that have participated in the SEC for more years than I have been around.

Going to wish all of the men folks on this board a special Father's Day. Special thoughts to those fathers that are serving our country in the military. God Bless America and those that protect us.
