Friday afternoon in the Classic City. We are looking at rain on and off for most of the w/e. Much inside work so won’t get a pass from the wife on the honey do list.

It has been another good week for the Dawgs on the recruiting trail. The “Dream Team” may less of a dream with the 011 signing day.

We will see a major shift in the several BCS college conference alignment in the near future. The SEC is in the catbird seat as we already have 12 teams and a conference championship game. Having said that I think there are teams that would add to our league. Clemson and VaTech are two that stand out in my mind. Add them to the east and Texas/Okla to the west and now you have a 16 team super conference. However Texas seems to want to remain the big cheese. Time will tell. Spice up the summer having this to chew on.

As it has been covered in the fish wrappers and confirmed by the Broad Street Wizards that AM has taken his leadership and summer drills to heart. Our vets are impressed with his work ethic and leadership. I picked up on the sidebar of AM having a better knowledge and command of the offense than MS starting their first game due to his R/S season and added practice time. All good things in his favor. Granted nothing like real game action, however this experience will benefit him and our team.

One week closer to Sept. 4th stay safe; pray for our troops and as always, Go Dawgs

Go Dawgs!
