Probably a good thing to set the July 1 minimum between their junior and senior years before you can offer a recruit a scholarship. It was heading towards offering kids in the 5th grade.

Agree wlayton - already were trying to recruit middle school - next would have been elementary

The following have undeclared guys have UGA as their #1 choice

RayDrew DE 6-5 253 ThomasCoCentral
XavierDickerson DE 6-4 242 Griffin
MalcolmMitchell WR 6-1 180 Valdosta
StephonTuitt DE 6-4 255 MonroeArea
XzavierWard OT 6-6 260 ColquittCo
ChrisMayes DT 6-4 290 Spalding
CJUzomah ATH 6-5 220 NorthGwinnett
JustinGarrett OLB 6-2 195 Tucker

The following have UGA as #2 choice - (#1 choice)

IsaiahCrowell RB 5-11 205 Carver (alabama)
JayRome TE 6-5 230 Valdosta (clemson)
DamianSwann S 6-0 175 Grady (alabama)
DexterMoody OLB 6-2 210 FortScottComCol (nebraska)

If we could get all the #1's and maybe 2 of the #2's - with what we already have - we'd have a GREAT class - really need to try to get Isaiah Crowell

Wonder if Jay Rome is Stan Rome's son. Stan was an UNBELIEVABLE WR/Athlete at Valdosta HS. Believe he went to Clemson and actually played basketball there instead of football. He was tremendous at VHS.....watched him play many games and totally dominate. Since Clemson is his #1 choice, he probably is Stan's son......interesting.

Maybe if Kyle Parker (QB at Clemson) turns pro in baseball, Rome will change his mind and come to Athens.

Stephon Tuitt has GT as number 1 I though. Didn't think CJ was number one with us either.

He is Stan Romes son. Stan played football and basketball at Clemson
