Found this Chris Low article on ESPN dot com:
(Interesting read--but I've seen too many articles way worse than this one lately)
Who has the hottest seat in the SEC?

Show me a football coach in the SEC, maybe outside of Alabama’s Nick Saban and Florida’s Urban Meyer, and I’ll show you a coach whose seat is always going to be at least lukewarm. Some are hotter than others, and some are downright toasty.
CBSSportsline.com released a list of all 120 FBS schools, assessing how hot each coach's seat is.
None of the SEC coaches were placed in the bottom two categories, which were “Warm seat -- feeling the pressure” and “On the hot seat -- it’s time to win now.”
The two I would disagree with are Ole Miss’ Houston Nutt and LSU’s Les Miles.
Even with Nutt leading the Rebels to consecutive nine-win seasons the past two years, I wouldn’t place him in the “Can’t be touched” category. Let the Rebels throw a 7-5, or worse, season out there and lose again to Mississippi State and see what the response is.
So I would characterize Nutt's job as “Change very unlikely.\"
As for Miles, CBSSportsline.com had him in the “On the bubble -- you never know” category. I tend to think Miles’ seat might be even warmer than that, meaning the “Warm seat – feeling the pressure” slot may be more appropriate as we approach the 2010 season.
I know it sounds crazy for a guy who won the national championship in 2007, but if he loses all the games that count again next season then Miles will be on thin ice.
Here’s the way CBSSportsline.com ranked the SEC coaches’ seats:
Don’t even think about it -- can’t be touched
Urban Meyer, Florida
Dan Mullen, Mississippi State
Houston Nutt, Ole Miss
Nick Saban, Alabama
Very safe -- change highly unlikely
Gene Chizik, Auburn
Joker Phillips, Kentucky
Safe -- solid position
Bobby Johnson, Vanderbilt
Bobby Petrino, Arkansas
On the bubble -- you never know
Derek Dooley, Tennessee
Les Miles, LSU
Mark Richt, Georgia
Steve Spurrier, South Carolina
As a UGA season ticket holder, I'm sick & tired of all the doubters & naysayers pushing their pessimism on Dawg Nation with all of this, Coach Richt is on the \"hot seat\" junk. (Not so much this article by Low but many others I've come across, this article just reminded me)
People outside of the program just don't understand how gawd-awful a coach Willie Martinez actually was. He made Jonathon \"city of\" Crompton look like an All-American single-handedly w/his absurdly predictable scheme. Sure, they'll be growing pains learning the 3-4 scheme but I have no doubt, Georgia's defense will improve in every single aspect this coming season. Our NEW D-coordinator was coaching the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL playoffs last time he coached a game. Willie Martinez is now the SECONDARY coach at OU, nuff said.
There's plenty of talent in Athens & plenty more on the way. In another article I read, 7 out of 9 UGA commits SO FAR on the ESPN Top 150 watchlist. Who knows how many more highly ranked players, especially all of them highly touted Peach State boys, will end up joining the Red & Black before Ntl signing day rolls around?!
Dawgs schedule is not too shabby (by SEC standards) except for the 11 straight games before the 1st BYE week. wlayton has said it numerous times & he's 100% correct, the Gamechickens game is absolutely CRUCIAL! Auburn game worries me in week 11. UF has a BYE before the WLOCP (what else is new). That said, UF lost a ton of talent on that defense & make no mistake, that defense (more than Tebow or even Harvin) won the Gators alot of games the past 2 seasons after a forgettable 2007 by those same players as youngsters.
I am honestly expecting an offseason transformation on the Dawgs defense much like the Gators experienced btw. the 07' & 08' football seasons. I'd be willing to bet THESE coaches are gonna be able to TURN ON THE LIGHTS for some of our young pups. Success this year depends on some GROWING UP. If our young Defense (we are VERY young on D, I like it) can GROW UP quick and more concerning to me, IF our young QB can GROW UP quick, we'll all be barking in our sleep this Fall!
The boys in Red & Black might not win 10 games this year, but I darn sure betcha these boys will bring the BATTLE to anybody & everybody for 60 straight minutes. I think that's what I'm most looking forward to this season; some good ol' fashion, fundamentally sound, line-up & hit somebody in the mouth Georgia Bulldogs football!
That's what I expect to be seeing a whole lot of while in Athens this Fall...that and a whole lot of jubilation among 90k strong inside of Sanford Stadium. I think lots of the CMR is on the hot seat just stems from the length of his tenure in Athens. Plus he's coming off one of his worst years in his UGA career, so it's convenient to write about. That & the fact that 4 SEC teams have won the past 4 BCS Titles. I expect one of those crystal balls in Athens, GA real soon too. Yes, I have plenty of expectations for the future but one thing I DON'T expect is for ANYBODY to write an article about the temperature under Coach Richt's seat after he puts the
Junkyard back in our beloved Dawgs come football seaason 2010!
A Safe & Happy Memorial Day To All--Thank you to all of our military heroes!
