When Coach Saban started his first year in Tuscaloosa, you could feel and see the \"Tide\" changing. Coach Richt and the team came away with a win against Bama in a very exciting game that went down to the wire. From that point on, you could see that Coach Saban was focused, the team was there. That is where I think we are with the influx of new coaches on the \"D\" side of the ball.
First year learning the system, then as some say . . . \"Katie Bar The Door\". The Dawgs will be back to where they were . . . . once again feared and respected.
In the SEC you do not win championships if you do not play defense. Coach Richt did not put a band-aid on the defensive side of the ball once he made the tough decisions. All of you folks on this board know that, truth.
Bama is not rebuilding, they are reloading, fact. I think they will be as good or better than the National Championship Team. They have leaders on both sides of the ball and a coach that accepts nothing short of perfection.
We will get there, get there with a coach that understands \"D\" wins football games. Our offense, think that we have no excuses, lots of talent on that side. Kicking game . . . I will stop.
