Saturday in Athens

Good Morning All, Have been chatting with some of the locals and the feeling is what CMR spoke of being a news buzz. Not related to the 10th street nerds. While CTG gave a position chart to start spring practice with it is written in pencil. He will have the 11 best on the field for what ever down and distance calls for. Ain't no cooike cutter \"D\".. when the ball is snapped you will see 11 players trying to meet and greet whoever is in the unlucky position of having the ball at that time.

To me that is the beauty, players learning and playing several positions. Think what pressure that will put on the \"O\" of a opposing team. It is going to be fun watch us learn and grow. Go Dawgs

Also I am pretty sure its Junior day this weekend. Maybe we get a few more commits. Not that they mean anything this early but its nice to at least have them on paper so other kids know top prospects are looking to go to UGA.

You are right when you say it is early for this group however, with what is going on with us getting our swagger back.. they now will go to other schools and see whats missing. Better and better ....Go Dawgs

yd1, I knew that what I posted was carried by the AJC. Really like getting David Hale's comments on the happenings at UGA. His blog in my opinon beats all of the material that the \"professionals\" at the paper submit for print. He also writes for the Macon Telegraph, which I am sure you are aware of. . . .

Any under the radar info coming in from Junior day? Was kinda hoping to hear some kids commit. I wasn't expecting to be like Texas and have 10+ commit after but it would have been nice to get 1 or 2 to have on paper.

My source said there were no commits from Jr. Day. Very quiet up there and believe spring practice starts Wed. then they are off all next week for spring break before getting back at it again.
