Without a doubt, the most grueling practices of any sport at the collegiate level. If not convinced, go to a local high school that has a top flight coach and program one afternoon. Or even better, attend a practice at a private club. These athletes are incredible. Two hands together for the athletes and . . . .

Had to quit swimming in high school after three varsity letters and a neck injury. I've never been able to swim competitively again. Eats at me, but I'll live. Still love the smell of a pool on meet day.

ESPNU will televise highlights and interviews from the Southeastern Conference Swimming and Diving Championships during its SEC-TV Weekly program on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The Georgia women won the conference title and the Georgia men came in fourth in the meet that took place at Gabrielsen Natatorium inside the Ramsey Center.
