Herschel displayed skills last night. You could tell he was taking his training seriously and had a good grasp of the fundamentals.
That being said, if you watched the fight, you'd notice that he was holding back and doing things like punching Nagy in the side and in the shoulder while they were on the ground when the dude's head was exposed. He acted like he didn't want to hurt the guy.
During the post fight interview, there was something in his voice and just the way he talked and his demeanor that made it seem like he wasn't very proud of what he did and just wanted to go home and forget about it. Like when they would ask him about his performance and point out highlights of the fight and stuff, it was more than him being humble, he just came across as \"why do you people think this is a good thing, can we talk about something else?\"
I just don't think it's in Herschel's nature to hurt people for fun and games.
