Just Wondering about Travis Jones

Just curious. Since we don't have the 3rd coach hired on defense yet, and since TJ is still coaching the Saints, anyone think it may be him?

He is set to make $500K with the Saints-I don't believe we would match that for an OLB coach, but what if it was $375K with three year guaranteed?

Wonder if he wants to get back in college?

It just seems if TG already had someone in minds that isn't in the superbowl we would at least heard a rumor by now.

Yeah, I think it will be TJ. Because if it were not him there would be ah 3rd in place by now. I get the feeling after learning more about CTG, That we are in for a real DC!!! this time around. To me he seems to be a No nonsense kind of coach. Which is just what we need!! I think he will put to gether a D that knows how to put the Wood to um!! And make the opposing Off, not want to come back out to play another set of downs. I am looking forward to next yrs D . And if some H.S. players arent smart enough to sign with UGA then its there Loss, cause UGA is heading Right back up in the Right direction IMO!! GO DAWGS!!!!

I have heard nothing. If it’s him, they COULD be waiting for the Saints to finish up. I found out that he DID coach outside LB’s for the Dolphins under Sabin.

Yeah, OLB under Saban isn't too bad, huh? Think it would be a good hire. Young, well thought of by Saban, NFL he can throw at recruits, a true Dawg, plus, another african american coach on the staff will help make some young men feel more comfortable hopefully-I mean that in a positive way.
