Garner to stay in Athens

I think this is great news and we truly need to keep someone like Garner on this team. I was hearing talk on a Nashville radio sports show that brought his name up as being a candidate for a spot on Derek Dooleys staff should he leave UGA.

Just would not be right to have a Dooley and a Garner on the other side of the field coaching up the bad guys in early October.

I hope working with CTG will help him develop and move up in our program or move on to bigger roles. He deserves any opportunity he may get in the future.

I would love to know why CRG stays at UGA every year. Do not take this the wrong way. I like CRG and feel like we would lose a very prized possession if he left. It seems like every year I hear that so and so is interested in CRG and CSS. Personally, I think it is awesome that these guys like UGA so much that they don't jump on the first raise they are offered. I also think that we could gain some great recruits if they were to hear their reasons. I am very grateful that these guys come back year after year. I think we have the best coaching staff in the nation, even if I do whine every now and then. The next couple of years are going to be very exciting in Athens.
