Would love Travis Jones. I don't think it is a big deal if the position coaches end up being guys we have never heard of. It only matters if they can work with the DC and can relate to 18-22 year olds. Face it, a big name guy isn't gonna take a position job anyway.
Would prefer someone already in the 3-4 but even that isn't too important.
Seems to me we have the DE position still available assuming RG stays and coaches DT's. If we don't hear of a DE hire this week, that tells me it's Travis Jones with the Saints.
A good friend of mine works at one of the sports stations here in Atlanta and is the color guy for a smaller football conference. he knows a lot of people in the coaching business. he told me before Christmas it would be TG so if he gives me any tidbits on position hires I'll pass it along.
